Q. How do I know what size to order?
A. For assistance we have included size charts on our site as well as measuring instructions. Just choose the dress you want to order, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, click the size chart tab and follow the instructions. If your measurements fall in between two sizes, we suggest that you choose the larger size and have your own seamstress alter it according to your specific body measurements.
Q. Do you have any stores where I can try on a dress?
A. We have an appointment-only showroom open Monday thru Fridays 10am-5pm located at 4700 Wissahickon Ave. Building K Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19144. Give us a call at 877-900-7766 to set up an appointment!
Q. Can I place an order by phone?
A. Yes! We’d be happy to take your order by phone. Our warehouse is open and ready to ship.
Q. How long will it take to get my order?
A. If your order is placed on a weekday and the dress is in stock it will ship within one business day (M-F). How quickly you receive your order depends on the destination and shipping method that you select at the time of purchase. We will let you know if the dress is not in stock as well as the estimated delivery date for back orders. We do our best to be sure you receive the dress 2 weeks prior to your event.
Domestic shipping speeds:
- UPS Next Day Air orders will be delivered the next business day (M-F)
- UPS 2nd Day Air orders will be delivered in two (2) business days
- USPS Priority Mail will be usually be delivered in 2-4 business days
- Standard shipping UPS Ground will usually be delivered in 1-6 business days
Q. How can I track my order?
A. After receiving an email containing your tracking number, you can track the package at www.ups.com for standard packages and at www.usps.com for express mail packages. Please email or call toll free if you did not receive the tracking number for your package within 48 hours of ordering.
Can I get a fabric swatch for my dress?
Unfortunately we are usually unable to provide fabric swatches.
Q. How do I return an item?
A. Request a return authorization number (RA) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling toll free 1877-900-7766. You must call within 7 days of receiving the package according to our RETURN POLICY . There is a 10% restock fee. Please include your full name as it appears on the invoice and your order number. Once approved, a return authorization number will be emailed to you. In the return package please include the invoice that accompanied your originally ordered prom dress or gown OR write on a piece of paper your FULL NAME, ORDER NUMBER, returned item's STYLE NUMBER, COLOR, SIZE and RA number clearly. Also, please clearly write your RA number on the OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.
Q. How do I exchange an item?
A. You can exchange an item for another size/color according to our RETURN POLICY only by calling within 7 days of receiving the package. Once approved, an Exchange Authorization (EA) number will be emailed to you. Please include the original invoice accompanying the dress or write on a piece of paper your FULL NAME, ORDER NUMBER, returned item/s STYLE NUMBER, COLOR, SIZE and EA number clearly. Please clearly write your EA number on the OUTSIDE OF THE BOX. Include a check or money order for $15 payable to Promgirl Inc. This amount will defray the costs for the second shipment.
Q. Why are your dresses so inexpensive?
A. Because we have the ability to offer these dresses online, our overhead is low. These are the same dresses you find in your local stores coming directly from the manufacturer.
